Our story
We're Ana and Meg, two friends who believe the best things happen around a table. What started as a shared love for mahjong grew into Swan City Mahj; a place to learn, play, connect and bring people together.
Meet Ana
I've called Lakeland home for 52 years and graduated from USF with a degree in Marketing. I'm bilingual, married to my husband Andrew, and mom to three amazing kids named Adriana, Julia, and Liam. My family owned and operated Lakeland Escape Room for 10 years, and when I'm not teaching or playing mahjong, you'll usually find me on the tennis or pickleball court.
Meet Meg
I grew up in Auburndale and have lived in Polk County my entire life, with the last 12 years in Lakeland. I'm married to my husband Kris, and together we have two sweet boys, Harrison and baby Pierce, plus four dogs. I love traveling, hosting friends and family, curling up with a good book, and enjoying a great glass of wine.
Our shared love for God, good people, and of course... mahjong. Mahjong has introduced us to incredible friendships, unforgettable memories, and a community that feels like family.
The vision
This chapter draws inspiration from Lakeland, our beautiful Swan City. It is about creating a welcoming community where people can learn, laugh, connect, and build lasting friendships around our mahjong table. From beginner lessons and open play to leagues, tournaments, retreats, and special events, we're just getting started.
